The dotside only affects the morphology of *actual* {cmevla}; under the
proposal, they get to freely contain "la", "la'i", "lai", and "doi", but every
{cmevla} must be preceded by a mandatory pause.  "{selmacygu'e}" does not end
with a consonant, and so it is not a {cmevla}, no matter how many pauses you
put around it.  It is a {lujvo} being used as a {cmene}, and since "{la}" takes
either a {cmevla} string or a {selbri}, the "{xanri}" forms a {tanru} with
"{selmacygu'e}" and is thus absorbed into the {cmene} along with it; thus, you
are referring to something named "{selmacygu'e xanri}."  To fix this, insert a
"{ku}" and/or a "{cu}" before "{xanri}."
