[lojban-beginners] Re: Complicated parallelism question
Seems to me y'all are over-complicating things. {la loglan e ba za bo
la lojban} will do the job. Keeping the conjunction inside the
abstraction gives "A long time ago, I read that Loglan, then after
some time, Lojban, existed."; meaning that a single event of reading-
learning occurred, during which I learned Lojban came into existence
some time after Loglan.
mi pu zu tcidu cilre lo du'u la loglan e ba za bo la lojban zasti
Since that isn't correct, {mi cilre lo du'u la loglan zasti} can be
converted to {mi cilre lo ka zasti ku la loglan}.
mi pu zu tcidu cilre lo ka zasti ku la loglan e ba za bo la lojban
Concise, and correct. Of course, if conciseness is the goal, you can
even go as far as
mi puzu tidycli lo zatkai la loglan ebazabo la lojban
