Re: [lojban-beginners] preti: sequential naming for long-term reference

It changes based on the digit; they each have different rafsi.
I'd say no to {la ...} unless you name your pants.

oooh, I like the subscript idea. is there any reason to dismiss any of the following?

{lo palkuxipav }
{le palkuxipav }
{la palkuxipav }

...also, I assume the appended "v" is there for a reason... does that change depending on the digit?

 You COULD say "la papalku" which would mean "the thing named 'One
Pant'" (although why that works grammatical, I have NO idea.  I
thought non-cmevla following "la" had to be selbri.  jbofi'e however,
likes it).  Saying "la palkupa", however, means the "the thing named
{whatever the fu'ivla palkupa means}", which is really not what you
want.  (personally, if you are going with labelling with names, I'd go
with with "la palkuxipav", but whatever.  Don't understand why "lo
pamoi palku" is so objectionable to you...)
