xusra seems the best word for a "definition" as used in the field of logic.
I also think skicu would be a better verb than catke (which seems poorly
metaphorical for what a definition is doing), if xusra isn't suitable.

concepts specific or species as used in the gismu list
We also have "ca'e",
which incidentally gives two more possible lujvo in its definition,
though I don't think either is necessarily the best possible. Those
lujvo are based on a definition being a "limit" on the range of meaning,
which may be what you are conceptually trying for in using "specify".
