Re: [lojban-beginners] @weekday: Calendars in Lojbanistan

I have been a fan of Asimov's World Seasonal Calender ever since it was first proposed.  I think that this calendar would work perfectly with the premise of lojban.  Using this calendar, the date-keeping protocol can be streamlined to year, season [A-D], week [1-13], day [1-7].

On the topic of "culturally neutral, logical datekeeping," is there a generally recommended lojban calendar system? How about http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/International_Fixed_Calendarhttp://calendars.wikia.com/wiki/World_Season_Calendar or http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Symmetry454 ? Logical and foreign to all seems like a way to avoid strong cultural bias.

Asimov's World Season Calendar seems to distance itself most from the 7-day week.
