  (of course, as I corrected myself.  I'ts nor-, but going forward...)
Because we are not expressing the exact opposite of stubbornness,
which might be, e.g. eagerness.  We are expressing the neutral point,
the non-opposition of the ideas.  I'm not going to stand in the way of
thikning about it, but I'm not necessarily ready to whole-heartedly
embrace them, etiher.
