It isn't really an 'h' sound.  The Lojban 'x' is one of the sounds
english doesn't use much (or at all).  I pronounce it _like_ an 'h',
but way back in the throat.  Techinically, it's a "voiced k".  But,
granted, a range of pronounciation exists, and that's the part of
the range I use.
