Short version: hi! I'm new. I'm gonna learn Lojban and ask questions about it, so I hope you'll be a nice list :p

This is a very nice list!

Long version:
It's long since I came upon the thought that natural languages are clumsy and ineffecient and that something should be done about it, and I soon heard a bit about Esparanto. But it wasn't until a few days ago when a friend told me about Lojban that I really looked into it. I read about Lojban and Esparanto and read some articles comparing the two, and to me Lojban's system looks significantly better than Esparanto's. I must confess that I haven't given other constructed languages a chance. I fell for Lojban pretty quickly. Constructed languages had to happen, and I'm a big fan of logic, so I'm gonna make Lojban my new hobby :) So now you know why you'll be seeing me around here, bothering you with basic questions ;)
Go for your life :-).

Some tips from another beginner:

- get SuperMemo to learn vocabulary. http://www.lojban.org/tiki//tiki-index.php?page=Software&bl

- The grammer reference book and a beginners book are available from http://www.lojban.org/. I keep a downloaded copy, and use chapter 20 and the search function (CTRL-f) on my browser to find things in it.

- Print this dictionary out and keep it handy! http://www.rpcurnow.force9.co.uk/lojban/

I'm from Denmark, and my thinking is half in Danish half in English.

(I'll leave that one as an exercise for you :-) ).
