Did anyone ever attempt to recuit their friends to Lojban? I sure

but they think that I'm wasting my time on it ...

And honestly - getting friends into Lojban is pretty tricky
considering the probable fact that they've never even heard of it.
Just suppose Your friend is trying to pick a language to learn,
which should be practical and easy, and imagine You coming up with
some oddly-sounding "Lozhbahn"...
