No, they do not {zifre} themselves, but they have something to do with {se
zifre}.

No, that is not what is meant by "Free software".
Software can be Free even if you paid for it! Free is *exactly* to do with
liberty.
At least in the context of "free and open source software". In the context
of "freeware", the "don't have to pay for it" meaning is the one intended.
The two are sometimes differentiated as "free-as-in-beer" (lo se jdima be li
no) and "free-as-in-speech" (lo jai se zifre).
