That is of course a cmevla, not a lujvo :) but {selcauseltisna} would
do it.
{zaska'i} "temporary-replacement" could also work for some
senses of "stop-gap".
For "stub", how about {ma'ufli}: x1 is a stub/failed to mature/
of arrested development in propety/aspect x2"
