As John Cowan, himself, has answered in the IRC, {mi .a do nelci ti .u ta} is
equivalent to:
{mi nelci ti .iju mi nelci ta .ija tu'e do nelci ti .iju do nelci ta
[tu'u]},
in other words, it equals a cross product of both compound
sumti, where {.a} has greater scope than {.u}.
As John has explained,the left-most sumti connective has wider scope over the next,
following the general rule about predominance of the left.
