ambiguous "they," which already sounds like it won't mix well with Lojban.
Is "da" all we've got for that situation? Or is there some other Lojban
trickery for me to learn?
If "they" actually refers to something mentioned before, then there are
various anaphora that work fine. But for things like that, I'd typically
just use (or omit, actually), {zo'e}.

.i coi do'u do mo mi'e mikce curnu
.i mi se cinri da
.i mi na'e mikce je'u gi'e ku'i curnu je'u
(Although the meter really only works for the {.i mi se cinri da} line.)
