Hi,
So I have a habit of bugging my friends about Lojban, and just now I
posted the following message and (partially idiomatic) English
translation on a web forum we all use. Mostly its purpose was for me
to play around a little and attempt to nudge people into reading up on
Lojban, but having written this, I thought I'd post it here for the
experts to pick apart; maybe suggest more Lojbanic forms of
expression, tell me whether {mu'i} would have been preferable to
{ki'u} and so on.
I was also quite pleased that the English translation came out
slightly longer than the Lojban :)

It's 14 weeks since I started studying Lojban, and I can discuss some
simple stuff in the language. Since I've not been trying very hard I
think that's pretty good. It'd be cool if at least one friend of mine
started learning soon, then we could speak Lojban together [happy
sound]. Damn all of your busy-ness ;)
