Skype is telephone communication, isn't it? I'm
sorry Elmo, but I doubt that this would help much
since:

a/ There are apparently only very few speakers.

b/ Not all of them may be willing to speak
   to a stranger over the phone.

c/ Also, there will probably always be much more
   learners than teachers (who actually can help
   or teach in a reasonable way).

c/ Due to different time zones around the world,
   it may be hard to find a partner who is available
   at a given time, i.e. not sleeping, working,
   eating, doing something else...

d/ It's difficult to create a common environment
   over the phone which I think is important for
   beginners. For instance, it's difficult to point
   at things...
