those are called cmavo clusters, but they have no significance in the
language at all, so it doesn't matter wether you say le nu with a pause
or without or write them with a space or without one.

the meaning of lemi is the same as the meaning of le mi, since they are
the same actually.

it's just personal preference. some people argue that their text is
easier to read when they clearly group cmavo that belong together.
