We wouldn't know whether { * klaus. pat. } was one name or two; in other
words, this could be interpreted as (in proper Lojban)
{ .i la klaus. la pat. prami } (Klaus loves Pat) or
{ .i la klaus. pat. prami } (Klaus Pat loves [someone])

That could be solved if cmevla had the grammar of selma'o BY:
{.klaus.pat.[boi] prami} vs. {.klaus. boi .pat. [boi] prami}.

But I find a greater affinity of cmevla with BRIVLA, the two open
word classes in Lojban.
