But would "carpentry" itself not be an appropriate value for x1?
Would "building beautiful houses" not be an appropriate value for x2?
Is x1 a particular event and x2 a general type of event?

The gismu list suggests that x1 is a process, and x2 an activity
(or an idea?). I find that very confusing. A work of art as a process?
Cubism as an activity or idea?
Is x1 the work of art or the event of making a work of art? Or either?
Is x2 the generic type of events of which x1 is a particular instance?
How do we say in Lojban:
Braque's "Woman and a guitar" is a work of art.
Cubism is a style of painting.
Painting is an art.
