With the understanding that 'set' in Lojban is not a mathematical
set but a group considered together, that would fit with lea
as {piro loi}.

It is not {ro lo finpe cu tolcitmau ro lo mabru}, so if "lea"
was {ro lo} at some point it was not that here. 

I would go with {lo finpe cu tolcitnau lo mabru},
"fish is older than mammal".
