I think, {makce'a} is enough...
For railgun/coilgun used as weapon, it would be {makcelxa'i}.

There is also coilgun that must be differed from railgun, because its
requirements are completely different. People often make coilguns at
home, but making a railgun at home is not very wise, because it is
dangerous more than useful. You just can't take it outside, I guess. :)
Is there a word for coil or gauss?
