Since "not only...but also" is a forethought construction, a good approach is:

gi'epo'onai lo'e ratcu giji'a lo'e mlatu cu citka lo rectu
Both [only case] [Not!] the-typical rat and [additionally] the-typical cat eat meat.

This is very Lojbanic in style: it exposes the logical underpinning of "not
only...but also" which is "both...and", and uses discourse cmavo to manage
the discourse function of saying that the first case is not unique, and the
second case provides an additional instance.
