Actually, it's not me in my guise as grammarian that cares; it's me
as a computer professional.
Conflicts between professionals and non-pros over vocabulary exist
in *every* language; I certainly expect them here.

Erm. Seperate issue. There are aspects of the language that need
to be tweaked/fixed, but vocabulary is orthogonal. Vocabulary in
Lojban is designed to be extendable and expansible. It's expected
that different people will you different words for different things.
The fact that I don't like some people's words for some things is
pretty much entirely unrelated to the un-finished-ness of the
language, IMO.
