Ever since I heard of the online virtual world Second Life, I have
thought it would make a great venue for Lojbanic meetings, and to
create a region in the virtual world that would be for speaking
Lojban. Basic accounts are now free at www.secondlife.com, requiring
only a mobile phone number for identification, so I've finally got an
account.
My alter-ego's name is Nemo Benmergui. It lets you write your own
first name and select your last name from a list. I found one which by
chance almost but not quite qualifies as a lujvo for "brainy
American."
I would be very pleased to chat with someone in Lojban in Second Life!
Type the name "Nemo Benmergui" to send me an instant message if you
log on!
