Re: [lojban] Lojban Scholasticism

There is a triple problem, alas:
Lojban doesn't have the vocabulary for most of
the things these "scholastic" discussions and
can't seem to develop useful terms in these
areas.

The discussions are mainly about the correct use
of expressions we would have to use to discuss
them, so that, in order to claim that something
was the right way to do someting, we would need
to agree beforehand what that something meant.

There are not enough people proficient in Lojban
to carry on a conversation and most of those
proficient to any level at all are not up on the
sorts of things -- Linguistics, Logic, and the
like -- to participate in these discussions.

All of these (except maybe 2) are solvable -- and
probably will be some day -- so that the ideal
does seem something we can hope for. (Someone
might start by translating some of the already
existing english discussions into Lojban).
