Everyone has a different role to play. IMHO this gadri debate is important, and the quicker it gets sorted out, .e'isai zo'ocu'i the quicker I can, 
e.g., go back through all the lojban I've written & fix all the gadri.

As far as Lojban literature goes, there's not a small amount out there, & it covers a broad range. One thing that helped me a ton last year was 
la nicte cadzu by camgusmis: a very readable story that grabs you at the outset and moves along nicely, and includes lojbanic themes.

Patience will pay off for us all here.
