Check out this illustrated PDF story which is a simple metaphor for
open-source software.

It was originally written in Japanese and has been translated into
simple English. It doesn't actually mention computers, software, or
the phrase "open-source" anywhere in it. It's a simple tale of fruit
trees. So it would probably not be difficult to translate it into
Lojban.
