Re: [lojban] Gismu space?

coi ju'o zoi gy. Is gismu space as full as cmavo space? I notice that the gismu
list is very old. Certainly there have been suggestions about this. What is
most annoying is that certain very specific gismu, like cinfo (lion) exist. By
themselves, they are fine. However, the lack of needed words in science, math,
and technology makes it a shame. Maybe it's the transhumanist in me speaking. I
would hope that gismu (and cmavo) would reflect a move towards science and
technology. We should not have idiocy like Christianity elevated to gismu.

Um. Second bullet-point under "What is Lojban?" on our own home page: "Lojban is designed to be culturally neutral."

Or should we enshrine other prejudices in our vocabulary? Maybe we should use cmene like "kaik" and "spik" instead of xebro and xispo.

Don't make assumptions based on support for Lojban. Strange at it may seem, not every Lojbanist is necessarily an atheist, transhumanist, futurist, or anything in particular. Don't impose your cultural biases on our forward-looking neutral language.

No, I'm not Christian, but I am Jewish, and so I know how dangerous it is to replace things like, say, "Jews" with "parasitical untermenschen that need to be exterminated."
