[lojban] respect

We need not do all cultures the respect of uncritically accepting
their ideas (not hardly!) but here the respect we are discussing is
the basic respect of being honorably named, and I will proudly stand

hesitation to all peoples on this Earth.
mi'e bret.
You have limited the topic of discussion to your own viewpoint. I was talking about the former one.
All cultures should have a name, a handle by which they can be discussed. Naming something has nothing in common with respecting it.
Lojbab's (I think) suggestion for different lujvo to identify more precisely what the topic is is surely a good one. Witness the confusion between Brett's idea of what we were talking about and mine, in both cases "respect".
