[lojban] la cinban.
Hello, I have discovered/invented a new language which I'm calling "la
cinban." which is an excerpt of Lojban. Cinban is the application of
UI cmavo to English text. The name of the language comes from this
old post by Robin, where he was actually suggesting it in passing as
an alternative name for Lojban itself:

.i .a'u On his very next post on the same thread, he uses Cinban as
I'm describing it, adding a "{.ie}" to the beginning of an English
sentence:

In fact, as I'm sure all long-term Lojbanistanis are well aware,
Cinban .i'u has always been very commonly spoken on this email list
and in other Lojbanic arenas. What I'm hoping .a'o to do is just to
give it some more specific energy ro'e & focus, to really see what can
be brought out of it. I believe .iaro'a that Cinban itself is a
useful and interesting language, which might be worth learning not
just as a stepping stone to Lojban, but also on its own merits.
I've created a forum
http://groups.google.com/group/cinban
where I plan to practice .o'o using Cinban until I'm fully fluent .a'o
in it. Anyone's welcome .e'uro'a to join me, of course. .uenaidai
mu'o mi'e bret.
