Robin: thanks for reminding us about the vocab jokes - Whorffian effects are
in grammar, not vocabulary.
A snow cone is not even so elegant as an ice cream cone: it is a mound of
shaved ice with really sticky sweet syrup pour over it, to be crunched up or
slurper up as the choice may be (the syrup always gets used up before the ice
is gone).
