Indeed, and why is there no word for "hakamaro'o"* in English?
Is it a specifically Pascuan concept?  Surely not.  Garages
throughout the U.S. are filled with objects obtained thereby.

*Rough translation: "the act of borrowing something, with no
intention of returning it, as a mild form of malicious sabotage."
