Perhaps freedom is a better choice of words than 'right.' A number of years
ago, I read an article (by Van Doran I believe) about the four freedoms which
were the freedom of self-determination, the freedom of self-realization, the
freedom of self-government, and the freedom of religion. I believe most
Americans have come to accept these as rights.
