I agree that {jmive} is not "saeng" as in "gisaeng", and use of the
same word for both concept of "alive" and "organic" is culture-centric,
metaphorical, therefore maybe non-lojbanic.
It is actually quite Lojbanic, in that jmive includes all tenses of alive,
including pu jmive, and ba jmive, which probably cover most senses of
"organic".
We would not use the word "jmive" for something morsi EXCEPT in Lojban %^)
