[lojban] [dkoch@9online.fr: REF: Great interrest (NON URGENT)]

I don't have a good response to this. Anyone else want to take a
shot at it?

While I was looking for anaglyph pictures, I found
http://www.projectrho.com, then you ;)

I was always looking for a more wide language such esperanto, but its
history was based on nothing. I was looking for a new language that has
some logic in it. I'm french, and french is *FAR* from being logic.

Once a day, while I was young, I started to create my own language -
TRINEAN - as well, with its own writing based on a 'cuneiform'-like shape
in a square cutted in 4 and diagonals ;)

This base shape feature 16 sticks, which can be used in computers in group
of 16 bits (unicode complient). It was in a way like some Braille writing
;)

Now each stick/bit was meaning something in the language base, such plural,
past, conditional, and a special stick is used to show in which direction
to read the text. This stick was the center right or center left, what was
a mistake, loosing a stick/bit, and on a line one could be enough.

It allowed to comes to an end of a line, and don't have to waste to came
back to the start of the newt line without reading, you were at the end of
the line and immediatly above the start of the following line you have to
read right-to-left (like chinese people) ;)

The result, once wrote by hand may looks like an asian writing, such
japanese, don't you think ;)

But the way words were created, or at least written was base os a
concatenation of common things.

Here a link to explain you how in a computerized way :
http://www.geocities.com/agkking/cppcode/StrTree.htm

Download and run... You may tell me "Hey, there's nothing about Lobjan",
and I will reply "RIGHT" ! Ther's something like trinean, were the common
subject/topic is the head word, and all words coming after are in the same
match of subject...

Another link : http://www.codeproject.com/string/cppstringguide1.asp

Here again you'll tell me that there is nothing to see with Lobjan, and
once again I'll answer "Right" ! It's about trinean !

I'm a coder (http://www.codeproject.com/miscctrl/CSkinProgress.asp) as you
might have seen, and LOGIC is my first goal ;) That's why I tried to
develop a very logical language, based upon the fewest random-rules
possible (the prononciation is the MOST random-ruled logic, why HORSE is
prononced H.O.R.S.E. ) !

For instance, each (or almost) animal specie is not only based in families
(mamal, equine, horse/zebra/...) and sex (male, female, gelding -?-) must
mostly on the number of chromosom ! And I first tried to give a name to
each specie with just a number, which was logicaly based on a known number
of chorosoms...

But in the same trinean sentence you might have sometimes the same
keywords, that's way I gave you the previous link, for you to read and
understand the DBCS !

Same in a subject, for instance hand are tips of the human body, where hoof
are the tip of the horse body. Just the specie was changing. Now humans
have 46 chromosoms, horses 64 (how cool) ;) Imagine a way to specify hand :
46-tip and hoof : 64-tip !

So if the whole converstation, sentence, whatever, was dealing about
humans, you have have in trinean to start the
conversation/sentence/whatever with the specie code 46, then the related
words !

So a girl walking on a man tip (his feet) could have been wrote like this :
46-female's tip walked on man's (understand 46 and tip) !

A horse walking on his rider feet is written : 64's tip (male or female)
walked on 46's (undestand male/female and tip)

Further details were not provided (such which tip was concerned), but the
flexibility of the trinean provided many ways to give more accuracy in a
sentence without any cost (of ink or spit). You are also able in trinean to
give full details, such 64-male-tip walked on 46-female-tip !

Get the idea ?

Why I'm telling you about this and especially about trinean ? I lost any
courage of finishing the draft paper of the complete language which needed
more vocabulary. On your web page, you are asking for some help. I just
hope these lost hints for my born-dead language could help you to put even
more logic in the lojban. And I would be glad to see all my efforts to
create a logical language not sent to trash :P

I'll now learn lobjan, which seems to be great...
