Inspired by the Esperanto Autodidakte, I think Lojban should have

I like the idea a great deal.
My current idea is to have the first two pictures introduce la
.alis. and la .bab., and then have them meet each other and so on,
but that's just a sketchy framework.
Would it not be more "lojbanic" to choose names that were less clearly
derivatives of common English names?
If no-one else wants to do this, I'll probably take a crack at it
eventually, but I wanted to throw it out to the community in case
someone else wants to start work.
I'm certainly interested....
Barring clip-art or photo-shoot solutions, I'll volunteer to do
illustrations.
I think easily available clip art would suffice for most of our
pictorial needs.
In general I love the idea; however, I think most easily-availible
clipart
will be under copyright.
Almost certainly, though some has relatively liberal licensing. Some of
the Dover collections come to mind. Especially if the product isn't for
sale..... Any lojbanists who also happen to be professional designers
might have access to stock photo collections with quite open licensing
(once you've paid hundreds of dollars or more for a collection, you can
pretty much do what you want with it).
However, clip art might have the problem of continuity. Finding a
series of pictures with identical individuals doing the right things
for the story will be hard.....
Maybe at the next LogFest we have a photoshoot,
using Lojbanists in attendance to play la .alis. and la .bab.?
Of course, contrary to my early suggestion about "lojbanic" names,
there's a couple of pretty obvious stand-ins for la .alis. and la .bab.
at a typical LogFest, isn't there?
Better yet,
we could have a book of true tales from LogFest, with photos!
Perhaps that's a separate book, or a later chapter or installment of
the Autodidakte?
