Judging by this definition, krici seems closer to "faith" than "ideology".


I assume you're referring to the "without evidence" part. That means more that the evidence isn't relevant to the gismu itself, not that there isn't any evidence at all. But many ideologies are religionistic. And most religious people feel there is plenty of evidence behind their practice. However, you might prefer instead veldjuno.
