Not to insult that person, of course, just pointing out that 'obvious' is in the eye of the beholder.
Since the redbook indicates that all CVVVs are experimental, they are all inherently nonstandard. I don't know what any of them mean and until/unless I am actively using the language with someone else who wants to use them, I probably won't.
When they are standard, then they will be in the cmavo list as well. Thus something is obviously not standard when it isn't in the cmavo list.
