No, on the contrary.  The Red Book defines tense+ku in terms of selbri
tense, and puze'a has a unitary definition.  We do not know if puze'aku
is synonymous with puku ze'aku or not.

Yes, but that's better that a bunch of rules that are more complex than
they are worth.  IMHO, we made the right tradeoff for PA, the wrong
one for tense.
