[lojban] On parser extensions.
In the wiki page for "The 17 tallest men", bancus noted that
le pabi'ipazeva'e be leni traji leka xadni clani nanmu
works well. Unfortunately, he did this with my help, and I was using my
new parser.
It is probably worthwhile for you to take a minute to try to parse that
sentence, *without* an automated parser, before going further.
xorxes pointed out that "pabi'ipazeva'e" is currently not grammatical,
whether you shove all the words together or not. :-) The reason seems
to be that the current parsers don't wait long enough, and try to
interpret things as "le pa bi'i <something>".
My questions are:
1. Did any of you have that kind of trouble parsing this sentence by
hand?
2. Does this count as a change to the language, or merely cleaning up
LR(1) issues?[1]

[1]: Please pretend that "change to the language" and "cleaning up LR(1)
issues" are two different things for purposes of this discussion; the
meta-disussion as to whether they are different or not can take place
elsewhere (and already has to some extent).
