[lojban] Re: Probation (was Re: Re: tone of letter)

Folks, look at this highness, who has the verve to declare me “ON PROBATION!!” in public. Let's do a little behavioral analysis, from which, we can get a glimpse of a human animal's heart.
If a moderator did consider a member overboard, she can send a private warning. If the act is egregious such as spam, the moderator can ban the guy outright.
but a righteous OpenSourcer will come forth with judiciousness and leniency and declare a “probation”!
Look at the attachment: “Consider yourself on probation for the INDEFINATE FUTURE” 

Such a kindness and decisiveness. And look:

“... you will be banned from this list, and ALL OTHERS I RUN.”

Such encompassing consideration.
Look at this commandeering rub-in: “Just For The Record: Not changing the logo.”!
as i have alluded to before, the drive behind behaviors such as this is a power struggle. An instinctive kind of show off to see who's the boss, esp by ones who posses power and can wield it in a popular way in the name of good deeds. Folks, if you never experienced politics, this is a firsthand show.
Dear Robin Lee Powell — Secretary and webmaster of Logical Language Group Inc, if there is an epitome representing the worst aspects of OpenSourcers, you'd be the one. Consider this as a gift of judgement from me to you based on our acquaintance.

Perhaps you have no grudge against anyone in particular, but the
tone of your emails about the logo is revolting.  It reads like
an attack on all of us, despite your disclaimer. The insults
("morons") and foul language ("fuck", "shit") do not help you at
all.


I second that. I'm not planning to take part in a thread that
starts like that, but I am going to protest against the language
and tone used.


That's two explicit complaints.  The first we've had in years, if
ever.  Not Cool.

Xah, please consider yourself on probation.  If anyone else
complains (whether publically or privately to me) about your
rudeness in any posts you make after this one, you will be banned
from this list, and all others I run.

Consider yourself on probation for the indefinate future.
