I do appreciate the offer, but, well, for now, I really would prefer
my computer to sound like a computer when it talks. :)

I've just run the basic Lojban vocatives through the TTS engine, plus
a couple of quick phrases, and put them at
http://www.datapacrat.com/Lojban/ for anyone interested in hearing
what the software voice I found sounds like.
