history question
Asssuming you aren't reading conlang - you've been silent too long for me
to think otherwise. Someone, perhaps you, gave me data at some point
that suggested that Zamenhof's making public domain the new Esperanto might
have been a response to the Volapu:k ownership disputes with Schleyer.
Harlow now says that the latter took place morelike 1888-9, which is NOT what
I remember. But all of my sources were heresay, mostly from you and Don
if I recall.
