The gismu list has a plausible ordering. Along around column 157 of each line
is a <=4 digit number. This is a frequency of occurence of that gismu in the
complete text archive as of a few years ago. Some words that appear often in
discussions about Lojban like "bridi" and sumti get high counts because the
text archove includes discussion of the texts. In addition "since" is overrated
because it matches an English word is such counting. But for the most part
this frequency count is a good guide for when to learn the words.

The letter codes in the following columns (160, I think) also can serve a s
a plausible ordering. There is a number and a letter, which corresponds to the
lesson and sublesson in the original draft textbook outline. This outline is
now obsolete (indeed, I wrote 6 lessons according to the original outline,
but John Cowan has reworganized these 6 lessons into 21 or 22 in the current
posted draft, and the ordering of those 20+ lessons does not necessarily
tracj to the original outline - though it probably is pretty close). However
it serves as a benchmark of MY best guess at one time about an order in which
the words could/should be learned.

But the frequency count is probably more objective, even if perhaps a bit skewed
by the lack of variety in early Lojban texts.
