Don't know what you mean by "mal-bra-smu-dotco!
{zbitisna} doesn't seem too bad.
Don't think that "cold" is typical Germanic: Italian "raffreddore", but Ger=
man "Schnupfen" (=zbitisna).
Something not too different from "cold" is "flu" (influenza), German maybe =
"Erkältung" or more specific "Grippe"
