The way I understand {ei}, it is used to indicate how the speaker
feels things ought to be, not any person's moral obligation.
So the Lojban according to this means "things ought to be such
that you are ashamed of yourself".
 
(It just so happens that Alice is talking to herself here, so using 
{dai} would be kind of redundant anyway, but I wouldn't use it even 
if she was talking to someone else.)
