{na'onai} is already in front of the selbri (isn't it?), since the bridi it's part of is quoted by {lu/li'u}.
The suggestions for "squeak" are both good.  I was working mostly from memory with no good English-Lojban lookups.  {su'o roi} is what I was trying to find for "sometimes", but couldn't.
