[lojban] Re: typo in etymology

I noticed a typo in the "gismu Etymology" page on the wiki: "pebionak" should
be "rebionak". I was going to make a note of it, but the page is marked
"official". Where should I put the note?
That page lists the inputs to the gismu making algorithm. It is a known
fact that there were a few transcription errors and typos in it. While
"pebionak" might be a wrong transcription of Russian (is that the language
in column 5?), it is "correct" in the sense that it *is* one of the
strings that was used to generate "verba".
What I suggest you do, is to create a new page, called something like
"gismu etymology errata", where you collect this kind of mistakes. I
believe it is commonly mentioned that due to a transcription error of
Chinese, "gismu" should really have been "gicmu". Knowing no Chinese, I
can't think of a replacement for the etymology that's in the list.

I am often asked how radio works. Well, you see, telegraphy is like a
very long cat. You yank his tail in New York and he meows in Los
Angeles. Do you understand this? Now, radio is exactly the same, except
that there is no cat. --Attributed to Albert Einstein
