Yep, optional loop-breaking is a definite go-ahead for the final
revision. If you're not a fan of the break method your other options
are breaking and then attempting to resume your interlerfu line, or
going back over your word/sentence when its done. I opted away from
pairing the vowels because I feel that they're somehow more
fundamental to the language in a way, and that they benefit from a
stronger visual distinction than a diacritic mark. Notice that in
terms of shape, they're sort of paired anyway.
I too, am extremely pleased that I (with notable assistance from
#lojban, ki'e rodo) was able to come up with a better solution for
sy.. The bar and a squiggle were really pretty meh.
As for p/b, you're quite entitled to not like it, but short of someone
presenting a ground-breaking alternative, it'll stay, i think it
serves its function.
