Well, the reason that I find it cool is that it implies that in the spoken language it will be much easier to hear the difference between words even when a fast talker is sluring everything together.  And my comment was mostly an aside. :)

Och! What a nightmare!

If it's "really cool" to make Lojban "parsable" whilst making it to all intents and purposes *illegible* by removing its white-space, then it is certainly justifiable to entertain going in the opposite direction, and applying something approaching standard Western typography to the language.
