Depends on context. Sometimes "je'e" is the right choice, e.g. for
acknowledgement of, say, an error condition message.
I think it a good idea when writing to the Lojban list to try
to do a translation of the essential ideas of what is written
in English. By sticking to the bare essentials, hopefully the
result won't be too far above the Lojban abilities of either the
writer or the readers :) .
Here goes.
.i zo je'e kakne

[{la xirma litru} is supposed to be a translation of `rider' (or rather
`reiter'); the name `reiter' is a reference to a (German) poem, in which
the riding was more a matter of {klama} or {litru} rather than either
{jitro}, {se bevri} or {se marce}. In non-tanru form, I'd write {klama
fu lo xirma} rather than {litru fi lo xirma}, but the generality of
{klama} makes {xirma klama} more open to misinterpretation than {xirma
litru}. Comments welcome.]
